May the Land (2025)

A group of Yale-NUS College students grapple with what they have to keep from their time at the school after it shuts, and if this blip in time matters. The days come and pass the way the trees shed leaves; they graduate and grow up navigating the larger world. What remains still returns to the earth, into our flesh, and into the back of our minds where we can only try to grasp.

What do we choose to remember and what do we let slip away? May the Land (2025) questions if it's ever possible to master the art of losing.

May the Land (2021)

is a site specific performance situated in the heart of Yale NUS, on the landscape of College Green. It responds to the announcement of Yale NUS' dissolution; an appeal to the faithful land amidst tumult and confusion through physical connection with the landscape, a vibrant celebration of the space and architecture in dance, poetry and light.

SITUATIONS: NOSEDIVE
a pilot explorative workshop sensing smell as a way of knowing (2024)
at A Piece of Peace Centre

Smell is a sensory experience that we often ignore, especially in a modern, urban society that has pretty much sought to eliminate 'bad', pungent smells in favour of more palatable, perfumed scents. Hosted in an old mall that is about to close, this exploratory workshop seeks to intentionally (re)connect us with smells and the stories and nostalgia that they evoke, as well as broader discussions about the politics of smell in the city.
