Smell is a sensory experience that we often ignore, especially in a modern, urban society that has pretty much sought to eliminate 'bad', pungent smells in favour of more palatable, perfumed scents. Hosted in Peace Centre, an old mall that is about to close, this exploratory workshop seeks to intentionally (re)connect us with smells and the stories and nostalgia that they evoke, as well as broader discussions about the politics of smell in the city.
